The working principle of the labeling machine
The beginning of the working process is to feed the box into the labeling machine on a conveyor belt at a constant speed. The mechanical fixing device separates the boxes by a certain distance and pushes the boxes forward in the direction of the conveyor belt. The mechanical system of the labeling machine includes a driving wheel, a labeling wheel and a reel. The driving wheel drags the label tape to move intermittently to pull the label tape out of the reel. At the same time, the label wheel will press the label tape on the box through the label wheel. Open loop displacement control is used on the reel to maintain the tension of the label tape. Since the labels are tightly connected to each other on the label tape, the label tape must be continuously started and stopped.
When the labeling wheel and the box move at the same speed, the label will be attached to the box. When the conveyor belt reaches a certain position, the label driving wheel will accelerate after labeling to match the speed of the conveyor belt, and then decelerate to stop.
Since the labels may slip, there is a registration mark on them to ensure that each label is placed correctly. The alignment mark is read by the sensor. During the label tape deceleration phase, the drive wheel will reposition to correct any position errors on the label tape.
